Wizdom Thrift Store internet auctions are run by the Cancer Support Center, Inc., a nonprofit corporation in Nevada. It was established in 1993. Using proceeds from our on-line auctions, special sales, and donations from the public, CSC distributes medical equipment and other basic necessities to clients in need.
We distribute direct aid to hundreds of individuals in Northern Nevada, in cooperation with several charitable Nevada organizations in, such as the Reno Cancer Foundation, St. Mary's Hospice, and the American Cancer Society.
CSC provides counseling services for cancer patients and their families and has free psychological and spiritual counselor on call.
